Reiki Level 1 workshop

Recently uncovered techniques originally taught by Dr. Usui are also practiced including his methods of meditation (Gassho meditation), breathing (Joshin Kokyuu-Ho), bringing forth the Reiki energy (Reiji-Ho), clearing "negative" energy (Kenyoku), and experiencing Reiki energy as a group current (Reiki Mawashi).

During the course, participants learn and practice the Reiki healing positions on themselves and each other.

Upon completion of this workshop, each participant is given a Reiki Level 1 training manual and a Reiki level 1 certificate and is eligible for Reiki Level II initiation.

Reiki level 1 workshops are available during the year and will be part of the alternative holidays that we organize in 2008 in the beautiful island of Rhodos (Greece).

Reiki Level 2 workshop

Reiki level 2 is regarded as Practitioner Level and is recommended for anyone wishing to practice Reiki professionally because it gives us a wide range of additional techniques to offer to potential clients. However, it is not simply about gaining another qualification and some additional skills in a healing technique…

It is much deeper than that, as it’s a significant step along your personal healing journey, one which takes you closer to making Reiki an essential part of your daily life.

During the Reiki level 2 workshop you are given a further energy attunement, you are taught three sacred symbols and their mantras and a range of special techniques which use one or more of the symbols, you are also taught how to send Reiki to someone (distant healing), the mental / emotional healing treatment, how to use symbols to empower goals and affirmations, heal the past, enhance future events, etc. There will be also enough time to practice.

Some other Japanese techniques will be taught and practiced, as Kenyoku, Byosen reikan-ho, Koki-ho, Gyoshi-ho, Heso chiryo-ho, Hatsurei-ho.

Upon completion of this workshop, each participant is given a Reiki Level 2 training manual and a Reiki level 2 certificate.

Reiki Master Intensive (level 3)

 

My Reiki Master training course is a truly comprehensive and fully residential 7-day Reiki Master Intensive for a maximum of 2 students, at the “Center of Light” in the beautiful island of Rhodes (Greece).

It starts with a relaxed and informal dinner at 7.00 pm and an evening of getting to know each other on the Friday evening, and ends after lunch with hugs and goodbyes at about 3.00 pm on the following Friday. Hopefully this will give you the weekend to "come down to earth" gently before returning to your normal routines, as the Master attunement and many of the course activities can be very profound and life-changing experiences.

Because this course is being taught over 7 days, rather than the more typical 2 days, and because numbers will be limited to 2 students, it allows me to offer a very comprehensive and thorough training, and ensures that everyone has sufficient time and personal attention to become proficient and confident in all the processes necessary to teach and attune others. Obviously we will cover all the basics, including all the attunement processes, but in addition there is the opportunity to add depth and understanding by including many things not taught on most Master courses, but which I believe are essential for the development of good practice. You will learn all aspects of Usui Reiki, including the system as it has been taught in the West and the original Usui Reiki Ryoho from Japan.

Prior Qualifications and Experience Required

Potential students must have a minimum of  2 years experience of using Reiki, (preferably at least one year at Second Degree level), and some of this experience should include time spent as a professional practitioner (treating clients, not just family and friends) on at least a part-time basis.

I work on the premise that you cannot teach what you do not know, so even a short time working as a practitioner will add depth and understanding to your teaching!

I also feel it is important for both Master and Master-student to establish a good working relationship, so I do prefer to teach students I already know.

I therefore suggest potential Master students take at least one of my other courses first, or at least arrange to meet me in person, but in some circumstances I will consider students I haven’t met (when they live abroad), providing we can get to know one another well enough with letters, e-mails, or telephone conversations.

The Venue

My Usui Reiki Master Course is held at the “Center of Light”, an alternative therapeutic center I and my husband established in a small village inland of Rhodos (Dodekanese), a wonderful Greek island near the Turkish coast.

In a peaceful location, with fantastic views to the fields, fells and hills beyond, surrounded by woods…giving us an easy access, within a few minutes’ walk, to the woodland to enjoy group meditation and spending time in nature, it is about 20 miles from the Rhodos town and the airport, and only 5 miles from the beautiful beach of Kolimbia.
     
All-in-all the perfect place for the wonderful spiritual and life-changing experience of becoming a Reiki Master!

The course is fully residential, with students being accommodated in a small hotel next door to the “Center of Light” or, if there is no room available, the students will be our guests.

All meals (mostly vegetarian -which is helpful for our energies) will be prepared in house (you’ll have the opportunity to help…) and refreshments are provided during the course, apart from a couple of lunches at local restaurants when we have a day out and on the final day of the course.
